Equine Assisted Psychotherapy
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy sessions are offered in nature. The sensory experience of the outdoors invites a sense of calm, while the connection between you and your therapy horse builds trust, confidence and an opportunity for self reflection, observation, and healthy attachment. No horse experience is necessary in this hands on experiential therapy. Time with the horses is performed on the ground (no riding). Sessions typically include movement with rhythmic walking and dual attention with your equine partner. Equilateral-EMDR as well as other client centered treatment methods guide the treatment process. Iām grateful for the opportunity to introduce Jax and Dallas as my equine co-therapists. Not accepting new clients in Equine Assisted Therapy
